Jill has been a hair stylist for over 10 years. She is constantly improving her skills and is really enjoying her new space. Bombshell Hair Shop has new stylists coming on board with new skills. Keep an eye out for announcements about them here. Come down and say hello!

JT Tyler

JT was born in Woodland Hills, CA. He was raised by his grandparents and enjoyed hanging out at his Uncle Jerry’s salon after school. In 1998 he left Smithville for Austin where he enrolled in the Vogue College of Cosmetology and his Beauty career took off. When he finished beauty school he worked at Visible Changes Salon in the Barton Creek Mall for a year. Later he found a down-to-earth shop called Birds Barbershop where he worked for 7 years. He wanted to live in a bigger city so he packed up his life and moved to Houston. When he arrived he found Scissorhands Custom Cuts and began to build his client base in Houston. When Scissorhands was sold he searched for a laid back yet professional environment and found Jill Johnson the owner of Bombshell Hairshop, LLC. “I knew that I found my home in Houston.” When JT is not in the salon you can find him riding his bike around the trails and doing fun local things. He also enjoys furthering his education by attending advanced classes for cutting, coloring and thermal blowouts.
